Looking towards the hot rooms at the Victorian Health Suite at Carlisle, c.1993

The steps on the left lead into the plunge pool which was just emptied for its daily cleaning before the photograph was taken.

Although these baths are called the Victoria Turkish Baths and are today in the Victorian Health Centre, the Turkish baths were only opened on 20 September 1909.
